Breeder's Notes
Basset Hound
Despite their reputation as lazy porch dogs, basset hounds can be very active. They love to go on “hunts” if they are given the space. They can be a little ditsy, however if they are given the correct training, they are very good dogs. They make wonderful family dogs as they are lovers of all people. While they do get random energy spurts and enjoy running and playing, they still love to lay around and just be near their humans.
